Singer Eden Golar – the representative of Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest, the final of which will be held tonight, May 11, was included in the list of “Peacemaker”. The actress was accused of several violations. In particular, they discovered an illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine. This concerns Golar’s visits to the illegally annexed Crimea.

It is known that the singer moved to Russia with her parents at the age of six. The girl was building a career there, releasing tracks in Russian.
In 2016, Eden took part in the “New Wave” competition, which took place in Crimea. In 2018, she became a finalist of the Russian “Voice of the Country” under the guidance of the pro-Putin singer Pelageya.

In 2022, with the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Eden Golar left the Russian Federation and moved to Israel. However, the singer has not yet publicly condemned the aggression.

As “Myrotvorets” notes, she is accused of illegal commercial activity in the occupied territories of Ukraine, participation in attempts to legalize the occupation of Crimea by the Russians, and knowingly crossing the state border of Ukraine with the aim of entering the territories occupied by the Russian invaders.

According to bookmakers’ forecasts, Eden Golar can take second place at the Eurovision Song Contest.

Earlier, the organizers of the contest disqualified one of the favorites of the song contest, the representative of the Netherlands, Joost Klein, for “improper behavior.”
