The reporter learned from the National Transportation Work Conference held recently: In the first November of this year, my country completed a fixed-asset investment in transportation of 3.28 trillion yuan; it is estimated that more than 9,000 kilometers of newly renovated (expanded) highways and more than 160,000 new rural roads will be rebuilt throughout the year. Kilometers, the newly-increased urban rail transit operating mileage exceeds 1,000 kilometers, the newly-increased and improved high-grade waterways about 1,000 kilometers, and 9 newly-certified civil transportation airports.
While the transportation network is more sound, the transportation service guarantee capacity is further improved and the structure is further optimized.
——Get through bottlenecks and make logistics more efficient.
Since the beginning of this year, in order to cope with the poor circulation of the international logistics supply chain, the Ministry of Transport has effectively collaborated with relevant departments. As of the end of November, about 14,000 China-Europe freight trains were operated, a year-on-year increase of 20.3%, and 74,000 international cargo flights were operated, a year-on-year increase of 25.8%.
From January to November, my country completed 47.5 billion tons of freight, a year-on-year increase of 13.5%. It is estimated that the port cargo throughput will be 15.5 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.8%, and the express business volume will be 108.5 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 30%. At present, my country’s road passenger electronic ticket service has covered more than 1,600 passenger stations above the second level, 318 cities above the prefecture level have realized the interconnection of the transportation card, and 102 cities have opened 95128 telephone taxi services, effectively improving the quality of travel services. Deeply promote the integrated development of rural passenger, cargo and mail, and build more than 1,300 integrated stations and more than 900 cooperative routes.
——Energy saving and consumption reduction, greener transportation.
Speed up the application of new energy and clean energy transportation equipment. The proportion of new energy city buses exceeds 66%, the green freight distribution model cities have added more than 86,000 new energy vehicles for urban logistics and distribution, and the railway electrification rate has increased to nearly 73%.
