FELTRE. Two hundred and sixty civil protection volunteers of the Ana Feltre section in action in 14 construction sites over the weekend to consolidate the training and fix the critical points of the territory, testing the former Zannettelli barracks as a logistical base for civil protection. With our eyes already turned to the weekend of April 24, when Feltre and Feltre will host 1,500 orange overalls for the Triveneta civil protection exercise.

The double appointment was made official at Zannettelli, increasingly a coordination point and logistic hub for civil protection activities, from exercises to the summer school camp, from interventions during bad weather to assistance support during the pandemic.

This weekend volunteers and the Municipality will work in synergy, to intervene on a consistent series of critical points from the hydrogeological point of view and to refine the operations of the teams.

«Saturday and Sunday around 260 volunteers will be engaged», explained Rizieri Bernardi and Dario Dalla Zanna of the Ana civil protection, «distributed not only in the construction sites but also in the barracks. It will also be a new test for Zannettelli, from the kitchen to the secretariat, to verify her reception capacity ».

“The objectives can be summarized with three” P “, explained the commissioner for public works and civil protection, Adis Zatta. «The P of preparation, because to be prepared one must practice; the P of prevention, because with this exercise we will carry out risk mitigation work to prevent failures; the P of procedures, which we want to verify and improve, also for what concerns the Municipality ».
