According to Sun Wensheng, deputy director of the General Department of the Civil Aviation Administration, the industry has seen positive results in recent years with the establishment of 690 registered general aviation companies operating 2,900 aircraft, and 1.267 million domestically registered drones in operation by the end of 2023.

With the issuance of regulations and standards for the management of unmanned aircraft flights and the emphasis on reducing logistics costs through the development of new logistics models, including the low-altitude economy, the industry is expected to see further growth.
Luo Hongjiang, deputy director of the Air Traffic Control Industry Management Office of the Civil Aviation Administration, highlighted the continuous improvement of the low-altitude flight service support system, which includes the establishment of regulations and standards, the construction of a three-level flight service support system, and the enhancement of service capabilities. The goal is to integrate manned and unmanned aircraft into the national airspace system safely and efficiently.
