After José Manuel Vega Sulbaran, alias ‘Satanás’, sent a letter to the mayor of Valledupar, Ernesto Orozco, in which he says he is not responsible for the extortion of merchants in this capital, the president indicated that the case was brought under investigation by the authorities.
Likewise, he highlighted that the Gaula and the Army have carried out recent raids that resulted in the seizure of cell phones in the High and Medium Security Penitentiary, ‘La Tramacúa’, where the aforementioned criminal is being held.
“What needs to be said is that when citizens have one of these events, they should file a complaint with the Gaula, who are the ones who have all the tools to find the people who may be extorting money from the vallenatos,” said the president.
He also pointed out that the scourge of extortion continues to hit the entire country, which is why it must be counteracted with operations and prevention plans.
“Within the dynamics and the security advice that we do, in the next one we will talk with the Inpec personnel to take measures on the matter of extortion, but actions against extortion have already been articulated,” he expressed. Mayor.
