The authorities they seized a farm in Antioquia, valued at 29,073 million pesos (about 6 million dollars), which belonged to members of the Central Bolívar Bloc (BCB) of the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia (AUC), the Prosecutor’s Office reported this Sunday.

A judge ordered “precautionary measures on 10 rural properties that would be related to the Bolívar Central Bloc (BCB) of lthe extinct United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia”detailed the Prosecutor’s Office, which added that “the assets are located in the village of La Malena, in Puerto Berrio (Antioquia), and make up the Guadalupe farm.”

According to the Prosecutor’s investigation, the assets are related to the former paramilitary chief Carlos Mario Jiménez, alias “Macaco” and ex-commander of the BCB, and other former members of the AUC.

“The Guadalupe farm was affected with embargo, kidnapping and suspension of dispositive power, and will be handed over in the coming days to the Victim Reparation Fund for administration,” the information added.

“Macaco”, who is imprisoned in Colombia after serving a sentence for drug trafficking in the US, accepted in March 2021 before the Colombian Justice his responsibility in 162 criminal acts that left more than 250 victims and that were attributed to the Bolívar Central Bloc.

The former paramilitary chief acknowledged that as commander of that bloc he led acts of sexual violence, homicides, displacements, disappearances, torture and other illegal conduct.
