Stiben Alonso Vargas Barrera, alias Tatuaje, was prosecuted by a prosecutor from the Chocó Section to answer for the crimes of aggravated homicide, manufacture and possession of firearms and ammunition, after being accused of the murder of a minor under 17 years of age that occurred on January 5 in the Las Terrazas neighborhood of Quibdó (Chocó).

Stiben Alonso Vargas Barrera, alias Tatuaje, was captured for allegedly participating in the homicide of a minor in Quibdó (Chocó).

The material elements of evidence, including sworn statements, allowed a prosecutor to announce during the hearings that the murdered young man arrived in the neighborhood from another sector, and his hairstyle allegedly caught the attention of the accused and two friends who accompanied him, who, apparently, belong to the Clan del Golfo criminal group. They would have thought he was characteristic of another gang in town.

Apparently, in this situation, they forcibly took him away and locked him in a house and two days later, on January 7, the teenager’s body was found on the banks of the Cabí River. According to the report from the National Institute of Legal Medicine, he had signs of violence and several stab wounds.

The detainee was protected with an intramural security measure at the request of the Prosecutor’s Office.
