The causes that led the 56-year-old motorcyclist, originally from Favria and off the road in the stretch of road that connects Torre Canavese to San Martino, are still under investigation. Riding a Yamaha R6 the driver lost control and ended up crashing into the dirt wall on the side of the road. In a green area adjacent to the accident site, the motorcyclist was intubated and stabilized by the medical personnel of the helicopter rescue before being transported to the Turin CTO. The patient is not life threatening.
