(ANSA) – TUNIS, JUL 31 – The president of the Tunisian parliament and leader of the Islamic party Ennhadha, Rached Ghannouchi, was hospitalized due to an illness.
This was stated by his office in a short note specifying that Ghannouchi left the clinic where he was hospitalized after undergoing several tests.
Ghannouchi, vaccinated with both doses, was admitted to the military hospital on July 13, 2021 after testing positive for Coronavirus. He was discharged on July 21st. During the day Ghannouchi postponed the meeting of the party leadership, the Shura council, convened to discuss the difficult situation in Tunisia, local sources say. (HANDLE)
