Two young people in difficulty in a stream recovered from the helicopter rescue

Intervention in Cogne of the Aosta Valley Alpine Rescue

Interventions by the helicopter rescue this morning in Cogne to recover two young people stranded in a stream in the Valeille valley.

As reported by the single rescue center, the two dived into the stream to help another person’s dog who was in danger of drowning. The animal was brought back to shore, but the two youngsters were unable to get out of the water and were dragged by the current to a six-meter drop in the rock. The intervention of the Aosta Valley Alpine Rescue made it possible to recover both.

Their conditions are “good”.
