Ulss Dolomiti, off to the fourth dose of vaccine

The additional booster injection is for nursing home guests, the over eighty in general, and frail patients over sixty. Here is the list of frail patients established by law

BELLUNO. The fourth step of the Covid vaccination campaign is underway, with the second booster. Which will go to the elderly of at least eighty years old (about 14,000 in the province), to all the other guests in retirement homes, and to people defined as “highly frail motivated by concomitant / pre-existing pathologies” who are at least 60 years old (see table below).

For the second booster dose, the use of an mRNA vaccine is indicated, in the dosages authorized for the booster dose (30mcg in 0.3 mL for Cominarty; 50 mcg in 0.25 mL for Spikevax), provided that an interval has elapsed. at least 120 days after the first booster dose. At the moment, the administration of the second booster dose is not indicated for subjects who have contracted Sars Cov 2 infection after the first booster dose.

In the Ulss Dolomiti, the vaccination offer will take place in the following ways:

On the initiative of the General Practitioner (dedicated sessions, access to the clinic, home vaccination, etc);

on free access to territorial covid vaccination sessions (see website www.aulss1.veneto.it);

by reservation from the website www.aulss1.veneto.it (system in adaptation).

The organizational machine has already started to start vaccination among the guests of the structures of the eligible retirement homes.
