BELLUNO. The Unicomm Group renews a package of guarantees and services reserved for its employees against damage caused by Covid. And it inserts the allowance for adverse reaction to the vaccine, which joins those already foreseen in the two-year period 2020-2021.

Against a pandemic that still seems far from decreasing its presence in the province and in Italy, the Vicenza group of Marcello and Mario Cestaro (associate of the Selex commercial group, occupies the second step of the podium of modern Italian distribution) has decided to increase insurance against Covid of its employees, which in the province are 485, distributed among nine shops active in different municipalities.

Marcello and Mario Cestaro, thank their collaborators who have decided to get vaccinated, «as a choice of responsibility for themselves and for others: vaccines have proven to be safe and effective and are the only tool we have to deal with the virus. We, also this year, wanted to do our part, renewing for the third year the insurance for all our employees against hospitalization from Covid-19, also inserting the allowance for the adverse reaction to the vaccine, although it is now scientifically clarified that it is an absolutely residual eventuality “.

Unicomm collaborators will also have an operations center available 24 hours a day, every day of the year, to request immediate medical advice or telephone health information; in the 30 days following discharge, they will be able to request the booking of health services, transport by ambulance from hospital to home, specialized home nursing assistance and psychological counseling.

The insurance coverage will be active until December 31st of this year. «This is an insurance that is added to the benefits of the National Health Service. It is a way of thanking our collaborators for their daily commitment ”, say the Cestaro brothers. “Let’s not forget that in some moments of this pandemic supermarkets were among the very few businesses that remained open, carrying out a social function”.
