The Order of Engineers of the Province of Reggio Calabria and the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria with the Department of Civil, Energy, Environmental and Materials Engineering are organizing the conference entitled: “Palermo/Helsinki: the corridor with the Strait Bridge for the sustainable development of Southern Europe”to be held Wednesday 10 January at 09.00 in the Aula Magna “I. Falcomatà”, Engineering Complex – Cittadella Universitaria.
The event will be attended by the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, the Hon. Edoardo Rixi, the President of RFI prof. Dario Lo Bosco, the CEO of the Stretto di Messina company Dr. Pietro Ciucci and other speakers of international standing.
The conference represents an important moment of in-depth analysis on the prospects for the development of transport infrastructures in the national, regional and Strait of Messina area contexts. Infrastructural development is, in fact, one of the central themes for relaunching the economy of our territories and the accessibility of an area significantly affects its competitiveness.
