The provincial elections in the DRC took place last Wednesday, December 20 in the DRC. The provisional results were published by the Independent National Electoral Commission (Ceni) on the night of January 21 to Monday, January 22. 688 candidates were provisionally elected out of the 780 expected for the whole of the DRC.
The final results will be made public on March 23, after the period of appeal to the courts provided for by Congolese electoral law.
