Due to its contributions to the economy and innovative initiative, the Valle INN economic strengthening model led by the Government of Valle continues to consolidate itself as a national example for the growth of entrepreneurship and the regions.

University students from different regions of Colombia come to the facilities of the Secretariat for Economic Development to find out how the strategy works that in Valle del Cauca has generated nearly 77,000 jobs.

“We came to learn about the programs that the Ministry of Economic Development has to find out how they support entrepreneurs in the region and how through the programs they do business development in the region. It is very interesting that these types of programs are carried out from the public sector because sometimes one finds all the public institutions very detached from the private part, which is support for the productive sectors, but here we see it,” said Deisy Cabrera, a professor of the University of the Amazon in Caquetá.

Twenty-six students between the ages of 18 and 26 came from this department to learn about the initiative. “Valle del Cauca is considered one of the emblematic sites of Colombia and it is a reference for us to learn a little more about the programs that the Government has and the successful ventures because entrepreneurship and all sectors of the economy are greatly supported here. , the opposite of what happens in Caquetá,” said Mabel Molina, a student at the University of the Amazon.

“We are amazed because cases like Valle INN are extremely interesting and important and should be replicated in all regions of the country because they have articulated spaces for innovation, technology, and internationalization plans,” added student Alfredo Pinzón.
