Former President Donald Trump, in Iowa to celebrate his victory in the caucus, promised to seal the border with Mexico and carry out the largest deportation effort in history. Accompanied by his sons, Trump reiterated his plan to build 300 kilometers of wall and increase border security.

“We are going to seal the border, because there are currently millions and millions of people entering the country in numbers much larger than the state of New York,” Trump stated. “They are coming from countries they have never heard of, they are coming from mental institutions. There are hundreds and hundreds of terrorists. We will have a deportation effort never seen before. We have to stop the invasion.”

In addition to focusing on immigration, Trump also addressed foreign policy issues, stating that his government will resolve the conflict in Ukraine and the situation in Israel. He also controversially promised to grant immunity to police officers, a move that has been criticized in light of the recent scrutiny of police conduct.

Trump’s victory in the caucus was expected, but he still expressed his confidence in the upcoming November election, stating, “The big night will be in November, when we get our country back.”

Overall, Trump’s speech in Iowa highlighted his focus on immigration and border security as well as his plans for foreign policy and law enforcement. His remarks serve as a preview of the key issues he will focus on in his presidential campaign.
