Amidst 60 rainstorm warning signals in Guangdong Province, firefighters are going above and beyond to rescue those in need. In a heartwarming display of heroism, firefighters have been seen carrying elderly individuals on their backs and using lifeboats to transfer trapped people to safety.

The brave efforts of the firefighters were on full display recently in Zhongshan, Guangdong, where heavy rainfall led to 15 people becoming trapped in a public toilet. With the town and cities in Zhongshan receiving a staggering 217.2 mm of rainfall, the situation was dire. Despite the challenging conditions, firefighters were able to successfully rescue all 15 individuals using lifeboats.

In another instance, a 98-year-old man found himself trapped in his home in Shenwan Town, Zhongshan City. Thanks to the quick actions of the firefighters, the elderly man was moved to a safe location. Additionally, the Banfu Fire Rescue Team responded to an alarm and successfully rescued 6 individuals who were trapped in the water.

As of 16:35 on May 4th, a total of 60 rainstorm warning signals were in effect across Guangdong Province, signaling the intense rainfall impacting the region from northern Guangdong to the Pearl River Estuary.
