When will the rulers of Algeria come to their senses?!

Ismail Al-Halouti
While Morocco is keen to respect the ties of brotherhood and good neighborliness with the Algerian brothers, since the late King Mohammed V demanded in his historic speech from the city of Oujda in 1956 the necessity of liberating the brotherly Algerian people from the grip of the oppressive French colonialist, stressing that Algeria’s independence falls within the unity of the Maghreb ranks. . At a time when his grandson, the inspiring leader, King Mohammed VI, is pursuing an outstretched hand policy with the rulers of Al-Mouradia Palace, committed to human principles and values, he is hopeful that they will return to their senses, accelerate turning the page on differences, and build a common future.
The Algerian military elite, the decision-maker and handler of security, regional and international files, refuses to go so far as to impose its point of view on the directions of its foreign policy, adhering to the doctrine of strategic hostility to Morocco, and insisting on creating crises with it, no matter the heavy cost, disregarding the interests of the Algerian people. The deterioration of his social and economic conditions. The level of hatred and attacks doubled with the arrival of Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the civil face of this elite, and after the liberation of Guerguerat from the separatist Polisario militia, as he was quick to reveal his intentions in his inauguration speech as president of Algeria on December 19, 2019, when he attacked Morocco and its territorial integrity, and the pace of statements increased after that. The chaos, and the media machine works at breakneck speed in promoting lies and rumors against the honorable Kingdom of Morocco and its symbols.
The Algerian rulers suffer greatly from a complex called “the Marouk,” and they always try to escape forward by reducing the cause of all crises and social, political and diplomatic problems to him, as he is the external enemy who does not stop carrying out hostile acts against their country and threatening its security and stability. However, despite the long path of disputes between the two countries, the political crisis has never before reached such a level of complexity, due to their extreme hatred and hatred towards Morocco, whose senior officials are well aware of the futility of responding to their hallucinations, in order to preserve their country’s good reputation among other countries. the world.
The height of the political and moral bankruptcy of the “Algerian generals” lies not only in their chronic hostility towards Morocco, but also in spending huge budgets in an attempt to attack its territorial integrity, by purchasing receivables and financing mercenaries and separatist movements, not caring about the severe damage that this causes to Algeria and the Algerians who live in Morocco. Difficult circumstances. It is sufficient to point out here that one of the American magazines specialized in maritime news and issues published in its issue issued on February 4, 2024, an article under the title “Algeria is greatly harmed by its boycott of Moroccan ports,” because the rulers of Algeria decided to prevent maritime transport companies from entering Algeria if they pass through Moroccan ports. Especially the Tangier Med port, with the aim of reducing the pace of its economic success.
What is more, Algerian gas has been incurring heavy losses since Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, at the direction of the de facto ruler, “Chengriha”, at the end of September 2021, took a decision not to renew the contract for the exploitation of the Maghreb-European gas pipeline with Morocco, and to limit gas supplies to Spain to the pipeline. Marine “Medgas”, under the pretext of “practices of an aggressive nature by the Kingdom of Morocco,” as stated in the presidential statement, and the fact is that the decision was taken with the aim of depriving Morocco of the gas it obtains for free in exchange for crossing the line through its territory, and thus Algerian gas imports to Spain were harmed and declined. By 41 percent in the first half of 2022…
What’s worse is the corrupt military junta, which has spent billions of dollars in oil and gas revenues on a lost cause supporting the separatist Polisario militia for more than four decades, leaving the Algerian people suffering from a scarcity of basic foodstuffs. After it became clear to her that the “Sahara” file had been decided in favor of Morocco, she chose, out of sheer stupidity, to play the same card with new representatives of the Moroccan traitors residing in the Netherlands, a group of separatists who claim to belong to the Rif region, and of which she was innocent, as “Chengriha” was quick to embrace them and cover the expenses. He transported them and prepared a special building for them in order to establish an office in Algeria to represent what they called “the Republic of the Rif,” which confirms that the Algerian regime very much enjoys playing the game of harassing Morocco’s interests and stability.
Then what does it mean for the rulers of Algeria to stay in the world, accusing Morocco of seizing properties belonging to the Algerian embassy in Rabat, and vowing to respond to these “provocations by all means they deem appropriate,” noting that the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs had previously managed the matter in a transparent and clear manner with the Algerian authorities, as it presented In 2022, with a request to purchase that building adjacent to the Ministry’s headquarters, because it has remained “abandoned” since the change of the headquarters of the Algerian Embassy, and they return to reveal that Algeria made a decision two years ago to expropriate the ownership of the Moroccan Embassy in Algeria and offer the previous headquarters of the Algerian Embassy in Rabat for sale?
Morocco, unlike Algeria, has always been keen to distance itself from the logic of escalation and deepening disputes, and that it can never take such random steps without resorting to the law. Rather, it happened to communicate with the Algerian authorities on the matter in a friendly manner, in order to preserve fraternal relations and good neighborliness. But Algeria is always moving towards creating crises and accusing Morocco of hostile practices, such as the “expropriation” incident.
