Bitcoin spot ETFs have finally been approved by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Wednesday via fake news about the SEC’s hacked X account and Thursday really via the US Securities and Exchange Commission. On Thursday I looked at which stocks could benefit from approval and on Friday I created a watchlist with the new Bitcoin spot ETFs. By the way, you can subscribe to the watchlist for free.
US inflation data was published before SEC approval. The DAX didn’t like them at all and it took Wall Street a while to digest them. Nevertheless, the leading German index managed to end the week with a small gain.
But there were also a few crashes this week among the usual suspects. On Tuesday Meyer Burger was hit, on Thursday Verbio was hit and on Friday it was Nel’s turn after a price target reduction.
