The National Civil Police processes the scene of a traffic accident that left one person dead, on the Pan-American highway, near the Ixcanales bridge, in Santo Domingo, San Vicente.
According to preliminary information, the driver of a truck lost control and ran over a woman who was shopping on the side of the road, immediately causing her death.
The person responsible was injured and is in custody at a hospital.
