Zelensky, Russia rejects truce for Orthodox Easter

(ANSA) – ROME, APRIL 22 – “Unfortunately Russia has rejected the proposal for a truce for Easter (Orthodox, ed)”. The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, writes on Telegram, publishing a new video aimed at his people.

“This shows how much the leaders of this State – he underlines – take into consideration the Christian faith and one of the most important and joyful holidays. We still keep our hope. The hope for peace and that life wins death”.
