According to officials in Balochistan’s Zhob district, a civilian and four security forces personnel were killed in an exchange of fire during an attack by armed men on a cantonment between Tuesday and Wednesday, after which five attackers were also killed. Commissioner Zhob Division Saeed Imrani confirmed the attack and told Independent Urdu that four security forces personnel and four civilians were also injured in the rocket attack and exchange of fire, who were shifted to Civil Hospital for medical assistance.

According to Commissioner Zhob, two people were injured in the firing in Newabadi Kakar Town, while at another place, a bus came under fire, in which a woman was injured, who later died, and at another place, a pedestrian was shot in the leg. .
District Health Officer Dr Muzaffar Shah told Independent Urdu that four of the injured have been shifted to Quetta.
An organization called Tehreek Jihad Pakistan has claimed responsibility for this attack.
Tehreek Jihad Pakistan’s name came to light when the organization claimed responsibility for an attack on a police vehicle near Sibi in March this year. Later, the same organization also claimed responsibility for the attack on Qila Saifullah Cantonment.
