The Lo sai and Heroes del silenço formations are the winners respectively of the advanced and amateur padel tournament, organized by the sports association El Gioviale last Saturday, September 4th at the El Gioviale sports center in Burolo. Sixteen teams were enrolled in the tournament, divided into two levels, the advanced and the amateur.
Starting from the advanced level, the Lo sai team made up of Simone Durisotti and Elia Rossi overcame the Los Pepes team, formed by Davide Perrone and Marcello Pedrazzini in the final 6-0. In the final for third place, Alessandro Strazza’s Cagnazza and Riccardo Cagnin 7-6 against Gabasse, a team formed by Daniele Pozzi and Giacomo Martinelli. Moving now to the amateur level, the final victory went to the Heroes del Silenço team of Alberto and Lorenzo Deiro, who beat the Double Team in the final 6-1, a partnership formed by Andrea Tosi and Jari Tezzon. Also in this case the final was disputed and to win it was the formation of Sam 17 of Samuele Tinetti and Cristina Biava, who won 7-6 against the Drink Team, a team in which Lorella Della Torre and Agnese Torno. After the 5-a-side football, padel has also taken off at the El Gioviale sports center and, given the success achieved, it is likely that other tournaments will be organized soon. –
