An emergency situation, a danger on the road, an object invading the lane become almost uncontrollable variables if you do not know what to do in such situations. Let’s add to it a comfortable but inefficient driving position, an incorrect position of the hands on the steering wheel, concentration not at its best and the lack of knowledge of the theory to correct an emergency situation. Losing control of the car is very easy, entrusting your hopes not to go astray to instinct. The Hyundai Driving Experience course, with a tour of the most iconic tracks in Europe, aims to prepare drivers to face these dangers, providing them with the necessary notions on paper and then putting them into practice safely on the circuit.

Hyundai Driving Experience: from theory to practice

The Hyundai Driving Experience safe driving course is an important ally to intervene in this type of situation, with qualified instructors who first provide all the information necessary for an optimal driving position with a theoretical lesson and then help the participants to adjust the seat, the steering wheel and the position of the hands on it. Because even before reading and interpreting the conditions of the asphalt, the grip, the braking distances, the width of the roadway and seeing in advance a dangerous situation, it is necessary to know which is the correct position to have the maximum efficiency on the pedal. brake in case emergency braking is required.

Hyundai Driving Experience: gli esercizi

Available for various levels, based on the technical preparation and experience of the participants, in Monza we participated in the Level 1 activities of the Hyundai Driving Experience, with exercises that replicate potentially dangerous situations that can occur while driving on the road. But even before performing the exercises, it is good to know that it is of fundamental importance to train your gaze, pointing it in the direction you want or must take. With this in mind, one exercise at a time the Hyundai instructors lead the participants along a virtual path that leads them to have the basic technical notions and gestures to be able not only to make fast laps on the entire Monza track – even in bad weather such as happened to us – but also to prepare them for any emergency situations on everyday roads. From braking exercises in curves at 100 km / h to changing lanes at high speed to the mini-circuit built to the first variant with slalom between the pins, the mix of fun and learning is guaranteed.
