The Red Bull Formula 1 team he announced that Adrian Newey, technical director since 2006, will leave his position at the end of the current season. Newey is English, he is 65 years old and is considered by experts to be one of the best racing car designers ever: in his career he contributed to the victory of thirteen drivers’ titles (4 with Williams, 2 with McLaren and 7 with Red Bull) , twelve constructors’ titles and over 200 Grand Prix: no designer has achieved so many successes. The possibility of him leaving Red Bull had been talked about insistently for weeks, but so far there had been no confirmation.
