The season of competitive swimmers from Belluno, returning from a troubled year due to Covid and the consequent closures of the plants, goes to the archive with the regional meeting of Monastier, in the province of Treviso.
Ondablu
In the final act of the season, two splendid gold medals arrived. In the Junior category, Alexandra Manai won in the 200 medley (2. 41. 39), Riccardo Biscaro triumphed in the 200 breaststroke (2. 55. 69). Alexandra also won a silver in the 200 backstroke (2. 39. 80), while Riccardo finished seventh in the 100 breaststroke. Manuel Brancaleone (Juniores) climbed the podium twice: silver in the 100 breaststroke (1. 12. 44) and bronze in the 50 style (26. 86). Bronze also for the athlete-coach Marco Zandomeneghi (Seniores), third in the 50 style with 27.06. These are the other best results: Oleksandra Kolodchak seventh in the 100 style (1.05.90) and eighth in the 400 style (5. 09. 75); Elena Vettorel seventh in the 100 backstrokes (1. 21.22); Rebecca Dalla Libera seventh in the 200 style (2. 24. 78); Alessandro Della Vecchia sixth in the 50 style (26. 83); Carlo Spadotto 12th in the 50s style (27.55). Previously, at the absolute regional meeting in Verona, Emma De Marco had finished in eighth place of the 50 breaststroke (35. 66), confirming her excellent form and the improvement in the technique of this style. Despite the difficulties, therefore, the season ends with a decidedly comforting balance for the coaches Mara Grelloni, Marco Zandomeneghi and Fiorella Da Canal.
Sportingly Belluno
The last round of the season saw seventeen color bearers of the Sportamente descend to Monastier. Several of them have made their own. Among the girls, Sara Sommacal and Eleonora Cibien shone in the 50s style. Also Cibien, Minerva Dall’O and Sofia Caldart, in the distance of 100, have surpassed each other, signing their best times even compared to the 25-meter pool. Greta Porta was also good in the 200 medley. Regarding the boys, the splendid tests of Gabriele Fiorin, Samuele Gashi and Giacomo Bianchini in the 100 styles are worth mentioning. But the other teammates also confirmed the progress of the entire season and put to good use the training sessions in Lambioi, which have been held regularly since February thanks to the commitment of the club.
Agordino actively
Few but good placings for the Agordini swimmers in the Monasier pool. Gaia Bristot finished eleventh in the absolute 50 style (29. 92) and twelfth in the 100 style (1. 04. 89). Giulia Carrera was placed in fourteenth position in the 100 breaststroke, always at an absolute level (1. 33.03 her time). Edvin Helmi was also in the race, with good times, again for the Active Agordino. –
