Arturo Vidal Returns to Colo Colo

Arturo Vidal is back in Colo Colo and living his dream. The ‘King’ has expressed his happiness about returning to his beloved team and city to enjoy his remaining years as a professional footballer.
It was uncertain at the beginning of 2024 whether Vidal would return to Colo Colo, as he had other options such as Boca Juniors and América de Cali. The latter made a significant financial effort to sign him, but Vidal confirmed in an interview with DSports Chile that his priority was always Colo Colo. However, he commended América de Cali for their efforts and stated that if Colo Colo did not exist, he would have chosen the scarlet team.
“América de Cali got involved, and I loved the way they talked to me and the love I received from people in such a short time. They went forward like crazy, the way I like it, and that left me very touched,” Vidal said.
Despite having contacts with Boca, Vidal’s decision was to return to Colo Colo. He expressed his gratitude towards América de Cali for their pursuit, acknowledging that his decision would have been different if Colo Colo were not an option.
Arturo Vidal is set to continue his career at Colo Colo, but he has expressed his admiration for América de Cali due to their efforts to sign him. He has made it clear that the Colombian team will always hold a special place in his heart.
