The match against Reggio Emilia postponed yesterday morning. The positives are now five, the whole team group is in quarantine
TORTONA
The Unahotels Reggio Emilia-Bertram Tortona match, valid for the 13th matchday of Serie A, has been postponed to a later date due to Covid.
Yesterday morning, a few hours before the match, two other positives emerged in the Piedmontese team group, which were added to the three already encountered in recent days. At that point the ASL of Alessandria was notified, which immediately ordered the isolation of the entire team group and suspended the competitive activity.
In the next few days the ways to recover the match will be indicated. The day scheduled in Santo Stefano was cut down with 4 other missed matches: Trentino-Varese, Fortitudo Bologna-Sassari, Cremona-Trieste and Milan-Virtus Bologna.
Bertram should return to the field on Monday 3 January (at 8 pm) against Cremona in Casale Monferrato. Given the great response of the fans to the initiative promoted since the first home match of the season, also on this occasion the company offers free transport to reach the PalaFerraris for all those who want to use it. Subscriptions will be collected via email at [email protected] or at the Derthona headquarters (via San Marziano 4) during the following office hours: from today to Thursday 10-12 and 16-19, Friday 31 10-12 . In addition to the fans, as usual, the children of the youth sectors of Derthona, Autosped Castelnuovo Scrivia and Nuova Olympia Voghera will also be able to take advantage of the free transport. The departure is set at 6 pm from the square in front of the PalaCamagna di Tortona. Last week, the Bertram players visited the elementary schools of the city and the surrounding area to give the pupils of the first class the exclusive notebooks, made entirely of recycled paper in respect of the environment, which have on the cover the photos of the players involved in the championship. A series, crosswords and fun games inside and the photo of the mascot Leo, which animates the internal competitions. The notebooks were given to children as a gift because, just like the team involved in the first Serie A championship in its history, they are facing a new and stimulating school adventure. The initiative is part of the “PiantiAMO il futuro” project, promoted by Derthona Basket, Riccoboni Holding and the schools and divided into a series of appointments announced last May, which began in November and are now continuing with this important event. –
