Het Belang van Limburg is looking for the football club of Limburg! A unique election, where you can help determine who wins through a vote. The amateur club from Limburg football that collects the most votes will receive no less than 2,500 euros in cash (to spend freely). There may also be a prize for you: we are raffling off an iPhone 15 among all voters.
In addition to the club of Limburg, we are also curious which club is the most popular per municipality. We like to turn it into a municipal battle. Exactly halfway through our election, we would like to provide the first interim results. We do not mention the number of votes (because that is the tiebreaker question to win the iPhone 15), but we do mention the position per municipality. And striking: the biggest club is not always the best. For example, Bocholt VV has to tolerate third provincial Kaulille.
If you haven’t voted yet, do so quickly (at least before March 31). 2,500 euros and the (municipal) honor of your club depend on it.
Clubs/players who campaign on their social media should use the hashtag #fclimburg. If you or your club are doing something special or fun to attract votes, please let us know (via [email protected]), who knows, our sports editors may report on it.
You can vote until March 31 via this link or our HBVL news app. The winning club will be announced in the week of April 8 and will be invited to the closing gala of the 22nd edition of Provincial Footballer of the Year on Friday, May 24.
