Betclic Apogee returns to France: Karimisbak signs with Bordeaux

Betclic Apogee inaugurates the new year with an announcement that lays the foundations for a bright future in the esports panorama beyond the Alps and beyond. The EA Sports FC 24 team has in fact formalized the agreement with FC Girondins de Bordeaux Esport for the performances of its player Karim ‘Karimisbak’ Rmaiti, thus returning to collaborate with one of the most illustrious clubs in France and the world for a new and exciting adventure.

The Italian player will therefore be involved in the next eLigue 1, which is considered among the most important competitions of the EA Sports FC 24 title and in which thirteen teams will participate, each of which is made up of two active players. Wearing the Bordeaux shirt together with Karimisbak will be Marwan “MarwanMC9” Chahhou, already a starter for two years in a row with the Morocco national team, with which he reached the quarter-finals at the last World Cup. The Betclic Apogee player will also be able to count on the support of another ‘loyal’ member of the team for the online phase, namely coach Francesco “Felpato” Aversa.

Keeping company and competing for the throne with Karimisbak in the top transalpine division will be two other compatriots, Raffaele “ErCaccia” Cacciapuoti, at Clermont Foot 63 eSports, and Andrea ‘Montaxer’ Montanini, at FC Lorient eSports, third respectively and fourth place in the latest eSerie A TIM.

Karimisbak looks forward to 2024 confidently after closing last year with a bang, following the prestigious victory in the FPF Christmas Challenge 2023, achieved by beating Diogo “Tuga810” Pombo, also a player of the Betclic Apogee team, as well as captain of the national team of Portugal, with an aggregate score of 3-1. Added to this exceptional result was the title of MVP and vice-champion of Italy in the last eSerie A TIM wearing the Hellas Verona FC eSports jersey.

Gonçalo Brandeiro, Founder & CEO of Betclic Apogee: “We are happy to have inaugurated 2024 with an agreement that allows us to compete in one of the most important championships in the world and to compete with teams and players of enormous prestige. We know Karimisbak’s value well, his results speak for him and we are sure that he will be able to speak for himself in France too. We thank FC Girondins de Bordeaux Esport for choosing to share this journey with us and for the trust shown in our project.”
