Federico Bollati, a veteran of the sword from Pavia, finished seventh out of 224 participants in the individual competition, stopped in the quarters by Gaetani, while the Fencing Pavia team won the Extra Series. This is the balance of the Caorle matches, valid for the qualification of the Northern zone which allowed the first 54 classified to access the absolute national teams scheduled in Courmayeur in June.
