Bologna, Orsolini’s redemption with goals

There is no better answer than a goal, especially after a complicated first round. From undisputed owner to luxury bench, Orsolini’s season was full of ups and downs. An ‘up and down’ that, now, finally sees the rossoblù winger smile, having reached the fourth consecutive goal.

Yet, the fate of Riccardo Orsolini (grade 7 – 23 credits) seemed to be quite sealed. Between September and mid-November, in seven league games only on one occasion he had started from the first minute (remaining on the bench four times), without even shining. The change of form in Bologna had given the right answers as well as greater balance. There was no more room, therefore, for his imagination, his talent. To the point that a sale in January had already been planned, with Fiorentina in Italy and Sevilla in Spain very interesting for the former Juventus player. Then, however, demonstrating that football is never an exact science, here is the sensational exploit at the turn of 2021 and 2022.

In the last four games in which he took the field, Orsolini has always scored: first he broke the ice with Torino (penalty), then he dragged Bologna into the derby with Sassuolo (last victory of the Bolognese), finally he deceived both against Cagliari and Verona with two high-level ballistic pearls. Yesterday’s is a candidate as one of the most beautiful goals so far in Serie A. A footballer found, reborn and who can make a great contribution to the rossoblù in this second phase of the season. The fantasy coaches also smile as they can again bet on a player who can potentially reach double figures with great confidence. Unforeseen events permitting, as this season of Orsolini taught us, full of reversals in front of us.
