CAGLIARI. We start again: Cagliari’s 2021-22 season officially begins. The Assemini sports center, but above all the Pejo mountains, will be the two main stages of the first part of the rossoblù pre-season. First appointment Wednesday 7 July, when the team will meet in Asseminello in the morning: swabs, serological tests, blood sampling and physical tests are scheduled, which will take place in groups throughout the day. Thursday 8, after morning training, thanks to the support of ATS Sardinia, the players will undergo the Covid-19 vaccine at the Hub of the Cagliari Fair. Friday 9th, new series of health tests before breaking ranks.

Missing are Godin and Nandez engaged until a few days ago with Uruguay.
On the afternoon of Monday 12, Cagliari will move to Trentino: Pejo will always host the rossoblù until 24 July, who will begin the real phase of preparation for the new season here. The return to the Val di Sole resort, with the Hotel Kristiania acting as headquarters again, marks an important moment towards the hoped-for normality: it will in fact be an opportunity to meet the fans again live, also through initiatives and activities organized in the square.
A strong bond of friendship unites Cagliari to the Pejo community, home to the Rossoblu pre-season for the fifth time. The General Manager, Mario Passetti, presented the withdrawal; to follow the interventions of the Director APT Val di Sole, Fabio Sacco, and the Councilor for Tourism of the Municipality of Pejo, Gianpietro Martinolli.
From Tuesday 13 the team will be engaged in double training sessions and friendly matches (to be defined) which the public, in compliance with safety protocols, will be able to attend for free.
