UDINE. Chiara Cainero closes the Nicosia World Cup stage with a gold in team skeet. A precious medal, which is added to the bronze in the mixed team won on Wednesday and which will please both the children of the shooter from Cavalicco. «I come home with two medals – she explains to us as soon as the competition is over -, dedicated primarily to Edoardo and Agata, who will thus be able to keep one each. Beyond the medals, the balance of the trip to Cyprus was more than positive for the Friulian, who also yesterday felt at ease with the new competition formula. «In qualifying I got 74/75, shooting well – she says – her. The whole team was excellent, especially in the final against the Americans: we fought until the end and only on the last platform did we take the advantage that allowed us to win.
I go home satisfied, even if I know I have to improve even more ». Chiara Cainero, Diana Bacosi and Martina Bartolomei qualified for the gold match with 215; the US qualified with 214. In the match for gold they won 7-3. The Nicosia stage was the first of a long season, which will have the key moments in the European Championship in August and the World Championship in September.
