The cash register keeps ringing for Cercle Brugge. After Vanhoutte, Ueda and Deman, French winger Yann Gboho can now also be cashed in. The Frenchman arrived for free from Rennes in the summer of 2022 after a loan period at Vitesse.
After a difficult adjustment period, Gboho became a permanent fixture this season. The creative winger still lacks the necessary effectiveness in front of goal. This does not alter the fact that, according to French sources, Toulouse is prepared to pay more than 2.5 million euros for Gboho, who did not play in the practice match against Beerschot on Saturday. If an agreement is reached quickly, Gboho may not travel to Monaco on Monday’s internship.
