Cross gold championships for Breanna Selley

Breanna Selley from Pavia wins the Italian junior title with Bracco Milano at the Italian cross championships held in Trieste.

Top ten for the two companies from Pavia in the absolute category. The Cento Torri (Lorenzo Pellicciardi, Francesco Candiani, Riccardo Patrono and Andrea Sambrun) closes in sixth place after having fought, but the imperfect physical conditions of Andrea (who sacrificed himself by running although suffering) did not allow for a better position. Cus Pavia (Alice Sansone, Lucia Piccio, Tania Catenazzo and Laura Morandotti) finished in seventh place, which represents the best performance ever. In the individual test Francesco Candiani, in the first year among the juniors, was placed in nineteenth place with a tactically perfect race. Brilliant sixth place for Lorenzo Pellicciardi among the students out of about 180 participants. Eleventh place for Riccardo Patrono among the Promises. These results bode well for the future. Positive debut for the students of Athletics Vigevano Benedetta Vittadini, Ginevra Pozzi, Giada Manto and Valentina Redaelli, who finished, with good individual tests, in thirtieth place out of forty-four teams. All the girls are in the first year of their category and have ample room for improvement. On an individual level on 200 athletes: Benedetta Vittadini 96, Ginevra Pozzi 113, Giada Manto 120 and Valentina Radaelli 156. –
