The provincial summer calendar has been launched with twenty appointments. President Mara Agricola: “Positive signs”

Eighteen companies and over twenty appointments on the calendar. The Belluno Committee of the Italian Cycling Federation is ready to restart after the 2020 stop. “We have one more affiliate company than last season and this is an excellent sign,” says Mara Agricola, president of FCI Belluno. «We have defined a calendar which, from June to September, offers various appointments in all sectors, testifying to the liveliness of our territory. The hope is that all the demonstrations can take place regularly and that the activity can restart at full capacity after last year we were forced to remain at the stake due to the health emergency ».
“The greatest difficulties, as for the rest of the sports, are related to the little ones,” says the president of the Belluno committee. “On Monday the federation announced that the start of the season is further postponed for the promotional categories (Giovanissimi, Youth Promotion and mini biker, ed) until Saturday 5 June ».
Thus, the start of the Belluno season which included, on May 30th, the dispute of the News Bassani Auto Trophy, a road race proposed by Gs Fonzaso in Arsié. Waiting to understand if there will be space later in the season or if the event will be canceled, the other seven appointments of the provincial championship of society, road and mountain bike, for the Giovanissimi category, remain confirmed. Here is the detail: the Mini Granfondo Sportful (cross country + cycling game) organized by Pedale Feltrino will start on 19 June in Feltre; on 4 July in Sant’Antonio Tortal di Trichiana the “Brent de l’Art Trophy” (cross country + cycling game) organized by the Bettini bike team; on 1 August in Taibon Agordino the “Saranno Campioni” (short track + cycling game) organized by Cicli Agordina; on 7 August in Rasai di Seren del Grappa the memorial Della Bianca (street) proposed by UC Foen; on 21 August in Zermen di Feltre a cross country event + cycling game organized by Pedale Feltrino; on 29 August in Fonzaso the Municipality of Fonzaso Trophy (street) organized by the Gs Fonzaso; on September 26 in Soverzene the “Saranno Campioni” (cross country + cycling game) organized by Cicli Agordina.
The road sector calendar for agonists also includes eight appointments. It starts on 13 June with the Giro del Piave (Sbardella memorial) for Elite and Under 23. Departure from Mel and arrival in Alleghe – Piani di Pezzè (Oes organization). June 27: Foen Cup for Allievi and Memorial Zandomeneghi (provincial championship) in Foen (Uc Foen); 3 July: final stage of the Giro del Veneto (Sospirolo – Falcade) for Elite and Under 23 (Oes); 22 August Vittore De Bacco and MOG Massaro Trophy for Allievi (provincial championship) in Seren del Grappa (Gs Fonzaso); 29 August Gp Esordienti in Fonzaso (Gs Fonzaso); 5 September Tour of the Feltrina Valley for Juniors (provincial championship) and City of Cesiomaggiore Trophy for Open Women in Cesiomaggiore (Uc Foen).
The traditional Castelli 24 hours postponed a few days ago, for amateurs the appointment in the province is that of the Sportful Dolomiti race, scheduled for June 20 in Feltre (Pedale Feltrino organization).
There are four appointments on the off-road calendar. The first is set in Ampezzo for 17 July: it is the Cortina Trophy (organized by Cortina Experience) which includes the marathon and point to point versions. On 1 August it will be the turn of the Pedalonga in Comelico (Spiquy team), a two-version race in pairs (marathon and point to point). On 8 August, however, the provincial cross country championship, scheduled in Sospirolo by the Bettini bike team. Last race in the sector, an enduro test scheduled in Zoldo Alto. –
