Daniele Gallon never stops After T’Amo wins in Brosso

BROSSO

Daniele Gallon got a taste for it: after having won the inaugural edition of the T’Amo trail in Bairo, ten days ago, on Sunday he also “baptized” the first Brosso-Cavallaria Pian dei Muli, “Memorial Gino Ondei”, third and last mountain running test of the 2022 Canavese running circuit, after the “Ca ‘Bianca” trophy in Cafasse and the Alpine March in Vico Canavese, held last month. Gallon (Atletica Canavesana) set the clock on a time of 37 ’09 “, beating Roberto Giacchetto (Podistica Valchiusella) by 23” and Stefano Giaccoli (Gdp Aldo Berardo) by 56 “.

Ninth overall and first in the female ranking Elisa Arvat (Pont Saint Martin Podistica) in 40 ’43 ”; behind him Lucia Caterina (Team Peretti) in 48 ’20 “and Rosa Orlarej (Podistica Dora Baltea), who finished the ascent in 50′ 11”.

Over the 4.8 km of the race (with almost 700 meters of altitude difference) 80 athletes competed, along one of the most beautiful and scenic routes in Valchiusella, also much appreciated by lovers of picnics and trekking and also by cyclists: from Pian dei Muli you can enjoy a simply enchanting panoramic and landscape show.

Among the clubs, the most numerous at the start was the Podistica Bairese, with 16 members, then the Durbano Gas Energy Rivarolo 77 and the Libertas Forno “Sergio Benetti”, both with eight athletes at the start.

Daniele Gallon also conquered the CPC “Mountain” classification in the M40 category, in which he conquered all three scheduled tests – surprising his opponents and alongside the experts – preceded Giuancarlo Grisolano (Libertas Forno “Sergio Benetti”), sixteenth Sunday, and Manuel Voiglio (GPD Aldo Berardo), 42nd on the Cavallaria. In M45 the final classification went to Gabriele Antonietti (Atletica Cafasse), while in M25 Paolo Pescetto (Libertas Forno “Sergio Benetti) won. Among the women, the final classification saw Monica Perardi (Podistica Leinì, category F50), Lucia Caterina (Team Peretti, F55), Maria Grazia Vignani and Patriza Martelli (both of Durbano Gas Energy Rivarolo 77, respectively in F60 and F65) prevail.
