Lake Louise (Canada), December 4, 2021 – Sofia Goggia does an encore in Female descent of Lake Louise, Canada. The Italian skier signed the best time trial exactly as happened yesterday, albeit with a smaller gap from the second classified Breezy Johnson (+0.84). The poor visibility conditions obviously influenced today’s descent of the Goggia, who can still rejoice in an extraordinary victory. Good performances by the other Italians, who do not disappoint expectations. Nadia delago was detached by a second and three tenths from the Goggia, Federica Brignone of one second and seven tenths; a result that allows three Italians to place themselves in the top ten. Disappointment for Mikaela Shiffrin, who both yesterday and today did not find the right feeling and classified far behind her rivals, also risking getting hurt in the final part of her descent.
