Enduro World Cup, Saturday afternoon in Pavia the opening ceremony at the Visconti Castle

by admin

The approach march to the 95th Six Days of Enduro, which will start on Monday morning from Rivanazzano Terme, is nearing its end. The event, however, goes live already on Saturday, with the opening ceremony scheduled at the Visconteo Castle in Pavia.

The event will take place in the afternoon and was strictly reserved for the teams and the authorities: a small disappointment for the fans, who will not be able to attend the parade on the stage of the flag bearers of the national teams present, but a necessary choice following the limitation set at about 400 accesses. this arrangement will not allow even several pilots, for an obvious question of numbers, to attend. On Sunday, on the other hand, the press conference of the Italian delegation will be held in the Rivanazzano paddock, entitled “past, present, future. The Blue Jersey at the Six Days of Enduro”.

In short, the last taste of “worldliness” before getting to the heart of the action, before confronting the dust of the dirt paths and the pitfalls of a highly technical and demanding track. It should be remembered that the paddock area set up at Rivanazzano airport will remain open to enthusiasts who decide not to station themselves along the race track for the entire duration of the event: the only area with limited access to pilots and professionals only. the technical area will remain, while the rest of the paddock will be accessible, always showing at the entrance the green pass for vaccination or molecular swab with negative result (there is a space in the area used for carrying out rapid swabs). –
