The value of England-Scotland goes beyond the purely sporting one linked to the fate of Group D of Euro 2020. Apart from the historical and symbolic aspects at stake there is a pass for the eighths for the National of Southgate, which falls short of expectations after the convincing debut success against Croatia. In the second round, however, the British produce little or nothing if the pole hit by is excluded Stones at the dawn of a more balanced match than expected, as demonstrated by the various chances packaged in the second half by Scotland, who will close their group looking for the miracle against the Croatia.
