Ferran Torres bid farewell to Manchester City: I am always grateful for this experience to put Manchester City in mind
On December 30, Beijing time, Ferran Torres, who moved to Barcelona, posted a long post on social media, bidding farewell to Manchester City, which has been playing for two and a half years.
Ferran Torres farewell letter:
Dear people of Manchester, I have left many good friends in Manchester, but I will always carry many good memories and experiences in my heart. Unfortunately, the new crown pandemic did not fully let me enjoy Manchester to the fullest, nor did I enjoy the surrounding environment as I originally wanted, but last year was really incredible for me.
In Manchester City, I not only grew up as a player, but I also grew up as a person. When I faced new challenges as a professional player, I became stronger and knew that I was really honored and lucky to be able to represent this great club in this jersey. In addition to all the great experiences, winning the Premier League and the League Cup, and of course participating in the UEFA Champions League finals, I have more important things to build a very good relationship with all of you, loyal Manchester City fans!
I want to thank Pep Guardiola and his coaching staff for giving me the opportunity to be part of this great team. Personally, I feel humble and thank me for my confidence to be included in this great, world-renowned team. Most importantly, I would also like to thank my teammates and all the staff of Manchester City. I am going back to Spain now, but I will always keep you in my heart, and I will still celebrate your victories together week after week.
