The new El Gioviale sports center in Burolo will officially open on Saturday 1 May and it will be possible to play not only five-a-side football (5-a-side football with summer tournaments). From Friday 21 May there will also be padel space, for which two fields adjacent to the five-a-side football one have been planned. This is explained by the president of the Asd El Giovale, owner of the structure, Marco Madia: «With our center we wanted to give a message of hope to the whole territory and also to the city of Ivrea – says Madia -. As for soccer, it will be open from Saturday 1 May at 10 to spontaneous groups of people who want to spend a few hours of joy playing football, the same then they can also do with the padel which instead we will officially inaugurate on Friday 21 May, when it will be present. also one of the greatest Italian imitators, Butinar, at 7pm. This center – continues the president of Asd El Gioviale – was unused since 2017 and is located in a strategic position: a stone’s throw from Ivrea and along the road to Viverone. We didn’t just want to play 5-a-side football, but try to broaden the horizons and the idea was born to open the doors to another sport that is going for the most, the padel. Until a few years ago this sport was little known in Italy, now it is gaining ground and we believe in it – says Madia -.
