The colors of the Ivrea canoa club, with four of its athletes, Lucia Gabriella Pistoni, Matteo Pistoni, Davide Ghisetti and Elio Maiutto, will shine in Europe, from 12 to 22 August, more precisely in Solkan in Slovenia as part of the European Junior Championship and Under 23 of canoe kayak slalom.
Upon indication of the competent technical management, the Italian Canoe Kayak Federation has summoned for the prestigious event the members of the male kayak discipline Jakob Weger (Navy sports group), Marco Romano (Canoa club Brescia), Matteo Pistoni and Davide Ghisetti (Ivrea canoe club), Gabriele Grimandi (Canoe club Bologna), and Paul Tirler (Sport club Merano). For female kayaking in the competition Tamara Drescher (Sport club Merano), Francesca Malaguti (Military Air Force Sports Center), Milena Marini (Polisportiva Montereale), Lucia Gabriella Pistoni (Ivrea canoe club) and Agata Spagnol (Canoe club Sacile).
For the Canadian men’s Elio Maiutto (Ivrea canoe club), Martino Barzon (Canoe club Verona), Flavio Micozzi (Marine sports group) and Marino Spagnol (Canoe club Sacile). For the Canadian women’s Elena Micozzi (Canoanium Subiaco), Elena Borghi and Marta Bertoncelli (Carabinieri Sports Center) and Cecilia Panato (Canoe club Pescantina).
Daniele Molmenti holds the role of Technical Director, Paolo Borghi and Pierpaolo Ferrazzi are Team leader, while Ettore Ivaldi and Erik Masoero will be the federal technical managers. –
