The Rossoneri club seems close to greeting the two defensive pillars, Mattia Gabrielli and Alessandro Lorusso, protagonists of an excellent season and courted with attractive proposals on the market. According to the rumors gathered, Gabrielli seems to be headed for mister Albertini’s Oltrepo, while Lorusso should marry at Piccardo Traversetolo, a club of Emilian excellence, in which the Pavia playmaker Christian Mangiarotti plays.

La Voghe must therefore rebuild the defensive wall, and is evaluating several important profiles, also coming from higher categories, to ensure solidity of the backward department. «I can anticipate that probably, at the end of the transfer market, our team will be even stronger – explains for the avoidance of doubt the owner Oreste Cavaliere – I remember that when they came to Voghera, no one knew the qualities of Gabrielli and Lorusso. I believe that Vogherese has shown that it has the right skills in buying players, while other companies, evidently with less knowledge, offer astronomical figures. Let’s go our own way, with a defined budget to be respected. There are those who make the market with knowledge, and those who do it with their wallet. Having fewer economic resources than others, we focus more on skills. Obviously this philosophy bears fruit, let’s not forget that we are the first club in the province of Pavia, based on the results of the last season ».

The incoming market

Meanwhile, Voghe unlocks its entry market. The agreement with Mattia Noia, a midfielder born in 1992 who can also play in defense is official; then lands in via Facchinetti Alberto Galimberti, promising central defender born in 2003 coming from Pavia, and former Primavera del Como. On the way out, however, the defender Fabio Fasoli is married to Verbano.
