by admin

Born in 1957, for 18 years at the helm of Volleyball Massa, Italo Vullo introduces himself: “We will be the reference of the territory”

GARLASCO

The evolution of Volley 2001 Garlasco continues: after the historic promotion to A3 of the 2020/21 season and the salvation obtained last season, the company chaired by Silvia Strigazzi, who will also present the women’s B1 at the starting line of the next championship, aims to further grow in the corporate structure and turns to the experience of Italo Vullo. Born in 1957, born in Enna, graduated in Economics and Banking, entrepreneur and business consultant, the expert executive has always lived in Massa Carrara. A former volleyball player and coach, he held an important managerial role in the Consorzio Vero Volley until last June 30th. In the last three years he has contributed to the management of the Brianza area. Previously, he boasts eighteen years at the helm of Massa Volleyball, from 2001 until 2019.

Full harmony

“We immediately found ourselves united by the same passion for volleyball – explains Silvia Strigazzi – There was immediate harmony on how we would like to carry on the corporate and sports program, but also and above all the school projects in the area and the management and growth of the nursery. The goal is to bring the name of the city of Garlasco around Italy with a high-level project from all points of view ». “The contact with Garlasco started after my decision to interrupt the relationship with Vero Volley, a company that I thank for the growth and further professional training that has allowed me to acquire in these seasons”, says Vullo for her part. «I wanted to have the freedom to express myself more freely – he adds – I knew Silvia from previous market negotiations and Savino Di Noia who had played with me for a year in Massa, a season that we both remember with joy. We felt and met in order to work together and I am happy to start with this new experience ».

Vullo arrives in Garlasco to direct the amount of work that the Lomellina company has been facing for several years now. «We want to create collaborations with other companies in the area – explains the new general manager – to be a point of reference and an outlet for those who want to play volleyball at a certain level and only the growth of the realities in the area can allow us to achieve certain objectives. I would like to clarify this point: the idea will never be to engulf neighboring companies, but rather to become a support and a reference point in their growth. Only by making them grow, we will be able to grow ».

Strengthening and structuring the youth sector, projects in schools and in the social sector and overall society are the ambitious objectives: “I will immediately start working to build a high-level corporate structure, which will also include the communication and marketing because the results in the field can only be the offspring of a high-level company, not the other way around », concludes Vullo. –
