the lab

Talking about sport and its protagonists is an activity that cannot be improvised and that requires skills and professionalism, in addition to passion. It will be La Ghirada, one of the symbolic places of Treviso and national sport, to host an original initiative aimed at boys and girls who want to try their hand in this sector, deepening some aspects. The proposal comes from the Comunica Cooperative, which, in its SummerLab section dedicated to “teen agers”, organizes the Talk Sport Lab. It is a week of “full immersion” with industry experts and high-level sports guests; with them the participants will be able to approach the world of sports communication, learning some secrets of the trade. We will talk about how to write and layout a sports news article, the history and evolution of match commentary and the language differences between the various media; the ways to interview athletes will be explained and tested, the presence of sports communication on social media will be explained. Among the speakers there are Simone Fregonese (communication manager of Cooperativa Comunica, Imoco Volley Conegliano and De ‘Longhi Treviso Basket) and Vittorio Demarin (manager of the SummerLabs of the Comunica Cooperative), plus a series of experts from the sports editorial offices of the main newspapers and agencies Treviso (newspapers, radio, TV, social networks) that will guide the young people on the path to become “sports communicators”. Last year, in the first edition, Miriam Sylla, champion of Italy, Europe and the world with Imoco Volley and today blue captain of the Olympic team, participated as guests, Michele Lamaro, third line of Benetton Rugby with whom she won the Rainbow Cup, and Matteo Imbrò, captain of De ‘Longhi Treviso Basket. Among the other camps organized by SummerLab in La Ghirada there are also the “3D Game Lab” dedicated to 3D graphics, Videogames, Gamecoding and the Fashion Design Lab, a week of “digital modadesign” workshop entirely dedicated to the world of fashion. –
