Dramatic accident at Mercato San Severino, on the A30 motorway, in the direction of Caserta. In the late afternoon of Sunday 14 May, a car ended up against the guard rail for reasons yet to be ascertained. Very serious budget: she died at 13, her mother and brother are serious.
Mortal accident
From what has been learned, the family involved in the accident resides in the Agro Nocerino Sarnese, a St. Valentine Thorium.
According to reports from the Ansa agency, a 13-year-old would have died in the crash. Her mother, at the wheel of the vehicle, would have ended up off the road after losing control of the car bumping into the guardrailand then overturned.
The youngest 10-year-old son is also serious who, according to the first reconstructions, would have undergone surgery. The father and a friend of the girl also ended up in the hospital.
The rescues
The arrived at the scene Humanitas healthcare and also the 118 air ambulance to urgently transport the wounded to the hospitals of Salerno and San Severino market. The wounded are hospitalized in critical conditions between the “Fucito” hospital in Mercato San Severino and “Ruggi” in Salerno, reports the Ansa news agency.
From a very first reconstruction carried out by the agents of the Caserta Nord Polstrada, no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
The mother, 40 years old, instead she would have been rescued and taken to the hospital in very serious condition.
Investigations in progress
The causes of the tragic accident need to be clarified: in the passenger compartment of the Toyota Yaris which crashed into the guard rail, in fact, 5 people were travelling.
The left caused several traffic disruptions and long queues on the A30 in the direction of Caserta: the section concerned was reopened – on one lane only – after 9 pm on Sunday 14 May.
Tragic weekend on the highways
On 25 March 2023, another tragic accident took place on the A30 motorway: in Castel San Giorgio, in Salerno, a car crashed crashed head-on against an ambulance and it was a young man who paid the price 28 years.
What happened on Sunday 14 May was also the umpteenth fatal accident which occurred on the same weekend. TO croton, three people have lost their lives and a fourth is in very serious condition following a car accident which took place in the district Poggio Pudano, on the SS106, south of the Calabrian city.
In the same hours, a 29-year-old from Bust of Garolfoin Lombardy, died following a head-on accident between two cars in Viale Lombardia in Parabiago on the evening of Saturday 13 May.
