After the win against Stuttgart, SG Flensburg-Handewitt remains on the heels of the leading duo in the handball Bundesliga. For HBW Balingen-Weilstetten, relegation from the Bundesliga is becoming increasingly likely after a disastrous performance against Eisenach.
SG Flensburg-Handewitt has kept its remaining hopes of a Champions League place alive. The third-placed team in the Handball Bundesliga won against TVB Stuttgart 39:31 on Saturday evening (May 4th, 2024). With four match days to go, Flensburg is four points behind Füchse Berlin in second place.
