Iga Swiatek, number 1 in the WTA ranking, has signed a contract with the beauty brand Lancôme. The Polish tennis player thus becomes the first Polish ambassador of the famous brand.
Swiatek announced the partnership through her social channels: “I became the first Polish ambassador of Lancôme and the first athlete among its ambassadors like Zendaya or Julia Roberts. This is a great achievement for me and I can’t wait to start this journey. Stay tuned for further news.”
The world number one, currently involved in the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart, added: “I would never have thought of announcing a collaboration with a beauty brand like Lancôme a few years ago… I’m happy to be able to celebrate my femininity thanks to this partnership, because as a tennis player I mainly wear sports clothes and I don’t have many opportunities to do so. Furthermore, together with Lancôme, we will develop a social responsibility project in Poland to support women in the labor market”.
